I loved their lighting and flowers. I've learned that out of the four dishes we had (Kaiser Schnitzel, goulash with stew beef, potato pancake with mushrooms?, and the wine vintager meat in the specialized section), the Kaiser Schnitzel was the best one. They put their sauce at the bottom and not at the top. I wasn't a fan of their red cabbage as it was too sweet to my liking. We had all three of their desserts and we liked their creme hard sugar top pudding dish the most. For those who like chocolate, the dark forest cake is the dessert for you! Also, they served their dishes pretty fast so appetizers might not be necessary for us at least. Would recommend trying! We are coming back
My first time coming in and I was blown away with the service and food quality! Such a great spot to enjoy authentic German food. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! I sat at the bar and was hosted by Christina and Sierra. Both had such an upbeat and positive attitude and were very personable and accommodating. Can not recommend this place enough!
I had pork shank and it was so tender and delicious My sister had schnitzel. It filled the plate and she said was very delicious. We split a piece of black forest cherry cake,Decadent!
Update! Still amazing food. Tried the schnitzel. It was amazing too! Lunch prices are really good! Best German food I have ever had in Florida. Very authentic right down to the vanilla ice cream with warm berries! The bratwurst was delicious. The red cabbage the best I have had outside of Germany. And the German potato salad was warm, with just the right Touch of vinegar. A friend had the lamb chops and she said they were delicious. Get the sampler platter if you can't decide what to have!
Delicious schnitzel and friendly service at this Bradenton gem. Good selection of German beers, so we all enjoyed a literstein. It was a nice day so we enjoyed the outdoor seating. Will definitely be back.
After our first visit my son would not stop asking to go there again for weeks he asked to go back. My son got the sampler and found his new favorite meal. Roulade. The spatzel and German potato salad tastes exactly like my Oma’s did.
What a fantastic time we had! Can't believe we haven't been here, but we will definitely become regulars! We ate early around 430 so only 2 other tables were occupied. Our server was prompt! Restaurant clean and for our true authentic entertainment pleasure we listened to Karl and his accordion! We laughed, we sang and we ate Hunter Schnitzel! Fresh hot and tasty! The vibe was inviting! Prices are on the higher end but worth it in quality and quantity! Prost
Anytime I’m working in the area, I make sure to have dinner at Edelweiss. Everything I’ve had there has been great. The combination of their Schnitzel, red cabbage, and Spatzle is out of this world. I always sit up at the bar and order a stein. I highly recommended this place to lovers of German food, or lovers of food in general. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this gem and will keep coming back.
